Rick is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Loss Adjuster.
He initially trained with PWC, moving to GAB Robins in 1986. He learnt his profession at GAB and specialised in power sector losses from 1990 onwards.
He is very experienced with wind turbines and hydro losses and particularly in managing the ensuing business interruption losses. His experience includes managing major losses in all aspects of the power industry, from nuclear to water and wind to biomass.
David previously worked for a major international adjuster where he headed the construction liability team.
David started working as a General Adjuster in 1980, moving through a successful start-up organisation, which was acquired by a major adjuster.
David’s main area of expertise is construction and liability, and he has significant experience in public and product liability claims, contract works and contractor’s liability claims, including contractor’s design liabilities.
David is also a recognised industry expert on rail losses and has significant experience at handling first party and third-party losses across the rail sector.
Gillian manages the compliance and office functions at RHP.
She is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and was awarded the CII Bartlett Sugden Award in 2023 for the best Advanced Diploma in Insurance completion score.
Alongside managing the business functions and being a key contact for our clients, Gill also manages a caseload of liability, construction and power losses.
Paul is a power engineer, who has been working in the power industry for 36 years and is a chartered mechanical engineer.
He has worked across operations and maintenance, construction, servicing and risk engineering. He has conducted risk engineering surveys in the power generation industry worldwide, including BESS, coal, hydro, geothermal, solar (PV & CSP), wind and combined cycle gas turbine facilities over the past 20 years. During his period of involvement in risk assessment/due diligence, he has conducted work globally.
Prior to joining the risk assessment arena, Paul worked for Siemens for 8 years commissioning gas turbines, with a further 8 years in the Royal Navy.
Peter learnt his trade with Rolls-Royce, working on the development of the Olympus engine. Following a spell at Courtaulds, he had two expat assignments in West Africa as Chief Engineer in both a rubber processor and cement manufacturer.
On returning to the UK, he worked for Toplis & Harding, then GAB Robins, before joining RHP in 2003. Peter is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and has led the RHP engineering response on a vast number of claims in the power sector and elsewhere. He remains with RHP on a contractor basis.
Simon has worked as a Liability Loss Adjuster managing EL, PL, TPPD and Disease claims since 2000.
He started his career in Insurance as a motor claims handler at Eagle Star in 1987, before moving to PCS as a Claims Handler in 1997, taking the role of a Liability Adjuster in 2000.
More recently, he worked for Lucas Claims Solutions and before this, CTA (formally Knowles Loss Adjusters) as a Senior Liability Loss Adjuster and Branch Manager at their Bury office.
Janet is a Law graduate and has worked in Insurance since 2018.
Prior to joining RHP, Janet has worked in various sectors including property, motor and liability.
Janet forms part of RHP’s Technical Liability offering, where she uses her experience and technical knowledge to assist with the investigation, management and adjustment of EL, PL, Products, Credit Hire and TPPD claims.
